A Vision for Salsa

In 1997, Eddie Sanderson took aim to create the best tasting bottled salsa on the market. His formula was simple: Use only the best quality ingredients to create the best tasting salsa that people will want as a staple in their kitchen. Thus, TEXAS-TEXAS Premium Salsa was born.

Gaining Traction

The formula worked. That same year, Eddie entered his salsa in the prestigious Austin Chronicle Salsa Contest, and TEXAS-TEXAS Premium Salsa garnered the first place in the People's Choice division. Since then, TEXAS-TEXAS Premium Salsa has been winning awards year after year. But Eddie credits that to his steadfast belief in providing people year after year with good tasting, high quality products.

Fourteen Years Later

Texas-Texas brand Salsas has become one the biggest and most popular regional brands of salsa in Texas. Our salsas can be found at almost every grocery retail chain such as H.E.B, Kroger, Wal-Mart, Super Target, Albertson's, Randall's, Tom Thumb, Central Market, Whole Foods-SW Region, and Brookshire Brothers. We've also branched out into multiple states in Wal-Mart stores such as OK, LA, AR, NE, KS, MO, and can be found on the east coast in The Fresh Market stores.

We continue to develop and market high quality products to meet consumers' demands and their ever-changing, adventurous tastes. While some things continue to change in our business, our mission will always remain the same: Build a world class specialty foods business that produces quality products in order to enrich people's lives and bring them enjoyment.
